Exhibiting a fresh, contemporary twist to the late Art Deco, ocean liner-inspired “Paquebot” style of the 1930’s, this proposal for a family entertainment building is designed to complement a new yacht marina development in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai.

The architectural solution disperses the 5000sqm program in separate, yet connected functional clusters that dissipate the large urban mass and create more direct visual connections between the river and the small mountain behind.
