RAYCOM YACHT CLUB IN HAITANG BAY

A SHORE THAT FLOWS INTO THE OCEAN
How to design a yacht club that draws on two main concepts defining tropical architecture in marine environments: the organic flow of tropical shores into the sea, and the floating structures that bring people closer to the water element?
Echoing the floating architectures found throughout East Asia, the proposal envisages a “floating paradise”, a unique and luxurious space separated, physically and conceptually alike, from the everyday life.
The yacht club is designed as a bridge that flows organically from the seashore, then spans above the infinity pool, bringing the visitors to a higher observation point, from which they can better appreciate the spectacle of the marina.
